                Student Criminal Issues

                College and High School Student Issues
                Charleston and the surrounding area is home to several excellent colleges, universities and institutions of higher learning. It is a great place to continue your education and experience life in the lowcountry. While we hope most of your experiences will be positive, but we know life sometimes throws us a curveball.

                We have represented students from The College of Charleston, The Citadel, Charleston Southern University, Trident Technical College, Clemson, The University of South Carolina, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and many other instate and out of state universities.

                College Student Criminal Issues
                The most common criminal issues we see are Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Open container, Use of a False or Fake ID, Minor in possession of Alcohol (underage drinking) and various disorderly conduct, public intoxication (public drunk) and simple assault or assault and battery of a high aggravated nature (ABHAN).

                Are you aware many charges can cause you to loose your license! Most alcohol and drug violation carry some sort of a license suspension ranging from thirty (30) days to six (6) months! Many of these license suspensions will stay on your driving record for ten (10) years! Let us see if we can prevent this.                 College Student Disciplinary Issue

                Did you know that aside from the criminal consequences for your actions many college and universities also will subject you to their disciplinary process. We handle Commandants Board, Honor Court and Disciplinary Hearing issues for The Citadel, College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University.

                The Citadel:

                We handle Commandants Hearings and Honor Court Hearings. We will help you navigate the process and prepare your Honor Court Representative

                The College of Charleston (CofC):

                We handle Honor Court and other Disciplinary Actions.

                The College has become very aggressive in these actions, let us assist you through this process!
